That reminds me - do the repeatable Minsc and Boo quests actually have a purpose? They're repeatable so I repeated them! At the end you give a seed to the tree and there's a glowing animation but it's the same every time. Is something ever supposed to happen? If I give the tree 100 seeds does it get bigger or something? Have I missed something obvious or is it just - pointless?

You get easy XP and refinement points everyday for doing it.

Thanks for clarifying - given all the hype about Minsc and Boo I thought there must be something more than that, which I was missing.

It's designed to make you take time and put in effort to help stop all those botters that run through content superfast, and make it more fair for the f2p people so players cannot just buy their way through the game with RL money to the point none of the f2p people can keep up.

So they designed mod 6 to annoy botters. Now I know how a botter must feel, thanks Cryptic.

I think Vigilance tasks are needed in Drowned Shores & Reclamation Rock to help new Players level between 60 & 70. My problem now is that my Control Wizard just completed the first two Vigilance tasks at the first two Campfires. Then I got the mission from Seven Toes to talk to Guard Harris at third Campfire I go there and completed quest and received Gar's Amulet but then unable to get new Vigilance tasks from NPC's in the new area?

Now I'm stuck and don't know what to do? Sure I can likely skip the whole third area and NOT do the WATER NODE mission just going to Reclamation Rock... But why am I not getting this content? There's some nice gear and items you can obtain here and I'd like to get it as I level.

I have no idea why the only mission Guard Harris gives me is Heroic Crab mission, and Seychell, or the Green ELF won't give me anything either...

lol. I'm sure the botters feel much worse than you - very sensitive souls they have.

...can it be that you have unfinished or unreturned vigilance missions from the first two Vigilance hubs?

Because you can only pick up 4 vigilance quests in total, and when that total is filled you'll get none offered. Crab HE is not a vigilance task, BTW, but a mere add on extra daily...

To their credit... vigilance quests do have a use...

As a cure for insomnia... works everytime for me... :p

WOW... seriously, this game actually makes me tired. I use to play hrs and hrs on end without realizing the time, now after about an hour or two, I can barely keep my eyes open. Nice to know it isn't just me.
