LoL Loot Table Restricted?

Basically I have a question about the way the loot table works for Lair of Lostmauth.

I have been running Epic Lair of Lostmauth for a while. Within the first dozen completions I had my Draconic mainhand, Draconic Armor, and one Ring of Pain. I even got an Artifact belt! At this point the last thing I need out of there (that doesn't have a prohibitively small drop rate, like the Horn of Blasting) is a second Ring of Pain. I continued running Lair of Lostmauth watching as enough Ring of Shielding dropped to outfit every tank in Neverwinter... another maybe 50 completions... but I am yet to see a second Ring of Pain drop.

My question is, am I being prevented from seeing another one drop because I have one equipped? Am I just unlucky? Should I drop mine in the bank to increase my chances of seeing another one? Is anyone else having a similar experience with Lair of Lostmauth?

I wouldn't say you were unlucky so much as I'd say that you're very lucky indeed. What you're experiencing could be considered the gambler's fallacy. Just keep on the grind and it'll happen eventually man.
