Aura of Courage hurting party member

I'm a devotion OP and was running epic ToS with a group, using aura of courage and aura of life. The cw in my group said that they were being hurt by aura of courage, the damage coming from another player, a HR in the group. I don't have any other details but I know the HR was pathfinder and was using slasher's mark, rank 3 (heard in chat previously slasher's was bugged(??)).
Wish I had more details but reporting it here and hopefully will be looked at.
