Yes this broken part of harrowstorm is a real problem. Knocking an enemy prone was a key part of my attacks. It's frustrating since I was beginning to recover some from all the last nerfs we have had to endure and now this. One step forward, 2 steps back. Especially since so many of our powers are useless.
i'm not going to spend a single ZEN or even AD, to fix another power/feat/boon disaster constructed by a recent patch from my pocket, only to get being said by the support, that they can't or rather won't refund it...
or at least an answer, when Scourge Warlock powers will be fixed?
and what about other SW powers or feats, that rely/work with curses, did the patch break them too?
or what about the SW rank 4 powers in general, which ones are still not working proper there?
How are the even breaking things that they're not touching? I don't recall there being any changes to SW's during this last patch (although I could be wrong).
It was like when my wife got the light switch on our suburban fixed, and then the transmission wouldn't shift out of first, I was like....what?!? They didn't even touch the transmission... (And consequently, I spent multiple days tracing back the signal wires from the vss to the vssb to the pcm before I found a bad ground).
So, the moral of the story is, maybe someone should check the SW for a bad ground! :-O
The fact that this is still a thing after this amount of time is part of why I've pretty much left Neverwinter. Except for the Gateway, Gateway is still good, and probably more fun then the MMO at this point.

Haha, that reminds me of one of Steven Wright's jokes: "I have this light switch on my wall that doesn't seem to do anything. Every once in a while when I pass by I would flip it up or down. A few months later I got a letter from a lady in West Germany telling me to cut it out."

How a real support works:
- really read and check, what the reported problem is about
- if a GM can not fix it right away, and it needs Dev attention, then at least offer an alternative (free respec!), and compensation for the trouble and/or any costs that this problem has caused the customer
How it works here:
- search for keywords in the ticket, and send an automated answer
- if the customer tries to contact again, either give the "you have found a bug, please report it" answer
- or if the customer still tries to reason with the support, put the ticket on "solved" and ignore the customer
- or warn the customer, that if he still tries to get a real solution for his problem from the support, he might get banned...
btw. my guess is, we won't get any answer here, and this thread will also be moved to "Nine Hells" forum shortly, like the thread about the other SW problems... but people are just throwing cash at them through the new lockboxes, so, why change a running system?
I lost Polar bear mount due to their **** up once, they never gave me a reply after "you're account for the actions you do and the items you lose by transfering them from your guild bank to your inventory". Dragged peridots from my inventory to replace that bear with them and POOF...so I now give as much respect as they do.
And now they literally **** up my second main character (played PvE TR since m0 to m5, was pretty miserable back then too) and just leave the class chained like that. Ok, maybe I should send a letter to WoTC or Hasbro too
I have given up on trying to get help here or from the support, it's just pointless.
It seems that they're too bussy working on the next module, and that other classes have a higher priority in getting something done. No idea, why they can not start and maintain a thread in every class forum, collect bugs, make up a list, and then throw in a fix for every class every week.
The last thing SW got was the "fix" for some bug with curses, that directly broke Harrowstorm in return.
My guess for the next "fix", something in Damnation, and in return the Soul Puppet will become stationary... that should also "fix" the problem with the Soul Puppet getting stuck at every stair or door.
Something that does not move anymore, can not get stuck anymore too.
