I am fairly new to neverwinter. I enjoy it tremendously. Here are s few problems that I see.#1. Community is riddled with the " I'm so good that if your not as good as me I won't help you be and your kicked. I have t2 you don't I'm not playing with you." Types. Ok #2 the devs and creators are awesome. I hear so much cry baby nonsense about not fixing things, I played cod for years. This game has updated more times in a month than cod gets a year. They, in my opinion are on top of player demands and updates, ty development team and support team for your continued handwork and patience. Lastly, for now, the inability to compare an item in the ah with my currently equipped items to see how if its worth purchasing, hint hint I am a gf who can't find anything rare in the ah to better equip my beast, I'm lvl 41 ( started my gf over from 57 after learning how feats work). So post those rates people, for acceptable BUYOUTS, I'm not giving 2000 ad for something I don't need in two hours. Ty and I am excited to be part of the forums and neverwinter community.

Welcome to the game! I agree with you about the Devs and frequent updates. A couple weeks in they fixed all the worst bugs in one sweeping patch. Much better than many other games I can think of... *cough* Destiny *cough*
Most people don't have issues with the actual development team. It's the compnanies customer service that most people have issues with. They know they're working on the issues but they don't bother to communicate with the players about the issues. They just ignore you until one day boom a patch is out for it. Most every other company would acknowledge that there is an issue and a fix and an eta if they have one. This one just leaves you in the dark hoping they noticed your pleas.
I could only assume that they like we do have a timeline consisting of numerous planned in game updates and drops that are "in the making yet planned" when we the gamer have gripes, they can only do so much in the time they have in order to stay on schedule. Hence my original kudos to the team. I could only see good things for this game with a 1.6 million player count for month one. Just give this game six months of updates and content I could see near flawless play, until then lets play, for free, collect, learn, and be the " remember that kick thing?" People with the early days skins and wisdom of how to play.
Yeah, you haven't been playing this game long enough or you just don't have a strong enough grasp on the games mechanics yet. This game is bugged very badly. I know this game is new for console and I think it's actually doing rather well for as new as it is and for an MMO's first foray onto the console market. However I'll give you a good example as to why I posted my previous statement about the customer support and care for the players.
The Dragonborn pack has been on sale since launch. One of the most needed pieces of the pack which was the race re-roll token did not work. The developers acknowledged this issue and not only did they not pull them off of the zen market so that people would not be buying a broken product that did not work and had no ETA on a fix for it they actually put it on sale encouraging even more players to buy the product directly after they admitted to it not working.
Something like this being done in a physical environment would almost be considered illegal as they were knowingly selling faulty merchandise to their customers without so much as a word of whether it was being fixed or not until much later.
This is just one of many issues I was referring to. It isn't that they don't do well in fixing the issues or bringing quality content to it's gamers. It's how their support and sales team treats their customers that I have an issue with.
Also to touch on the "it's free" thing. The only reason this game is free for most is because some of us put money into it. Otherwise it wouldn't exist. So while yes it is doing very nicely for someone who is strictly free to play. It's doing very poorly on this side of things for the players that actually purchase the content and keep the game alive.
Got to say that I have put $60 into this game. I really felt that I needed the fastest mount for the big advantage it gives in PvP. I bought a 24 slot back pack which makes looting simpler as you can pick up everything without first having to look as to what it is. The rest I converted into AD.
The $60 I have spent on this NeverWinter game is a fair amount to give when I spent so much more on a lesser quality game called elder Scrolls online (ESO). ESO had me paying $110 (abouts) for the initial purchase of the game followed by an additional $15 every month for 6 months. SO I spent at least $200 on ESO and it may have been a little more (perhaps another $15 more). ESO is way inferior and didn't live upto the hype at all. I regret spending the money with ESO but I have no problems with the fractional amount that I have spent on NeverWinter.
Yes this game has some bugs but they are fixed quickly. What can I say, All MMO's start off by having lots of bugs. Beta testers don't stumble across every problem.
What I would like is perhaps a faster NW server or a fix to what ever causes the LAG. I do not get LAG on the PC version of this game so I don't see why this cannot be fixed for the XBox version.
It's a great game this NeverWinter!! Congrats to all the people who made it happen. Well Done!!!
I hear what your saying on the dragon race reroll. That's foul. Has it been fixed? I'm sure they will if not. If anyone ever wants to play and help me build my gf hmu xbone. Maj numb thumbs. Over 18 only please, I'm in my thirties and don't have much to talk about with little kids, not hating on the squeeker, just being honest
