The chat system is partly to blame for the frustrations of the dungeon kicks.
If the chat system had true channels and we could weed out the trade spam, people could group up and guild up easier. Sometimes I see someone asking for a group, and I can't even message him because it's too hard to navigate the window.
On PC you will have more RP type people, on console people just want to get stuff. The trade spam is ridiculous. Fix the chat so we can communicate better and that will help the kicked issue.
The best solution would be custom chat filtering, with separate chat and combat logs instead of one combined log. That would fix the problem of Zone/Trade and your other important chat text disappearing because of the massive amount of combat text that gets recorded. Being able to create different tabs for Zone, Trade, and Guild/Group would help everyone immensely.
In addition, since we have no access to the parsers or other utilities available on PC we're unable to accurately and efficiently test different powers and feats. This would go a long way towards helping people not only optimize their builds and gearset, but we'd also find out if certain mechanics aren't working as intended and be able to better record that data to report for bug fixes. The biggest problem I've had in this aspect, on both the training dummies and in combat zones, is that the combat log literally picks up every instance of damage and healing done by every player and mob within the area you're in.
80% of that information is completely useless, and by the time you're able to scroll through all the clutter and find the information you need it's repeatedly pushed off of the screen and ends up disappearing because JoeSchmoe is spamming AoE on a pack of mobs 80 feet away from you. It's incredibly annoying when you see that proc you've been looking for, switch to your log and start scrolling, only to have your cursor be repeatedly reset 15 lines down every time your log records a new chunk of pointless information. Having a way to filter this stuff and only see what we need (outgoing damage/heals, incoming damage on self, heals taken by allies/enemies, etc) would absolutely make my day.
