Potions of heroism. They're useful, but they're the only thing you'd need to buy there. As far as i'm concerned, dead f*cking last on the list of things this class needs fixed.

Humour aside, at least they did fix some things:

Aspect of the Lone Wolf: Rank 4 now increases Deflect as expected.

Stormstep Action: This class feature no longer grants more recharge than expected with Seismic Shot. (didn't even know about this one)

lol so finally I can spend rank 4 in 1 more feet. But keeps me wondering when they will fix all Wis/Control strength stuff as well as Roots damage.
not asking even for bs feet like batleborn or WM.
On a bright side they are one step away from cliff they were last week.

And yeah Stormstep Action - nobody knew about this cause nobody uses it except maybe some people who are testing for bugs(exploits). It is not like in normal situation now HR can get away from fox/serpent, crushing

Yeah I've been running aspect of the lone wolf and twin blade storm for as long as I can remember. I don't think I even have any points in stormstep.

The nerf to Stormstep Action really wasn't as big as so many people made it out to be. Sometimes I will run SSA in conjunction with Disruptive Shot, which on a 9-second CD means you only have to delay your next DS by 1 second to get the full CD reduction from SSA. Still makes it a 3-second CD if my maths doesn't fail me completely. Not the most terrible feature choice in Mod 6 (here's looking at you Seeker's Vengeance).

That's interesting. I would've thought with your combat advantage build something like seeker's vengeance would've been just icing on the cake. Is it broken, or just not worth taking given the other options?

ok think of how often you are "behind" the target. Not in CA but really behind.
Lostmouth ? here comes the tail!
any other dragon? here is AOE or tail again.
other boss? ToS lady laughs at you together with ECC pirate boss and Wolf den jumping btch.
How about major enemies? or just regular mobs? How often you can like up all mobs so that you hit them right from behind. Again not in CA directly from behind.
And to have this 'icing' you need to sacrifice one of major class features - aofl, aof pack(constant CA in party), Serpent, crushing, Blade storms.
And for what? 20% of damage that can be triggered once in a blue moon in situations where HR has to dodge and move. Does it have any synergy with something? TR maybe. But HRs are not TRs.

So in the end - another useless feature to huge pile of useless HAMSTER HR now already have. Without any particular use or even thought of design behind it. They might as well put some SW/CW/DC feature instead there => it would be more useful

I agree. It didn't make sense for my build. I'm almost always left or right of dragons. I can see it maybe being useful if you're teaming with a tank and taking up a forward position shooting back toward the tank, but that's just too situational to bother investing in for most builds. I don't have any points in Seeker's Vengeance and that's intentional.

Aspect of the pack is going to be better than SV in just about every situation. If I wanted that position based damage flavoring, I'd choose the former over the latter without giving it a second thought. I never have though, which is what made me curious about lithiriel's build and her(?) perspective on it.

I'm pretty happy they're fixing lone wolf, actually, that was really hurting my defensive build.

Combat Advantage boosts not only your damage but every party member within 25' of you if running Aspect of the Pack at R4. Add the Pack class feature from the OH to that and it is an added boost to your damage. CA is the one stat that didn't seem to depreciate for me at lvl 70. At lvl 60 it was around 8% and now its over 9% with the extra CA I got from upgrading Lantern to legendary. I also use Heart of the Blue Dragon for CA and would dearly love to get my hands on Kessel's Spheres for even more CA.

If you can find that sweet spot where you are 30' away from the target to get the crit boost and still within 25' of most party members you will be dealing some good damage. And Pack doesn't just count for party members but all allies, which is a massive damage boost during Heralds runs if you fire from within a group.

Just about the only fight where CA is not applicable to me is Lostmauth, where I hardly move at all, so would just likely boost the tank and any melee fighting the dragon. Sometimes Heralds too when FX and lag starts taking its toll on my pc so I'll just stand in one place and open up on the dragons. The rest of the time I'm sticking close to my party members for CA boost.
