Chat Window.

After working with a GM via support and them not being able to solve this I was told to bring it here. Also my main is level 64.


For some reason I can only see guild chat in my chat window.....No zone chat no trade ect....

Per GM's help I have:

1. Force Verified install. (Found 285mb that was patched.)
2. Reset all chat to default
3. Made sure that I had nothing in my ignore list
4: Made sure there were no errors showing up


Not to sure what else that I can do.....One thing that I am aware of. All PWE games are linked via the chat system. I played STO for over a year without buying life time or a monthly sub. About 6 months or so ago one of the perks that you now get for being a lifer or a monthly suber is having access to all functions of chat.....SO as a F2P person I did not have all chat only Fleet chat.....

If this help awesome.....According to the GM I should not be having any troubles regardless...

Update: 6:50pm 5-12-2015

This is odd, I was in Graveyard earlier and one of my fellow guildies were there also. He or she was talking in zone chat and I saw that but could not see the replies that he or she was getting......Looked like they were having a one sided conversation with themselves...

Personally I think that the issue I am having and I am sure that there are others like me out there is cause of the fact that the chat system is linked...ie see above about not having a sub for STO.....

Was also wondering if a person can be perma banned from chat.......Also sometime before the launch of season 10 for one day the chat system was working just fine.....Wish i can get a response from someone on this....

Have you gone into your chat settings and verified that there are check-marks by every chat channel that you are wanting to interact with? Other than that, I'm at a loss.

Ive done that and more.......Reset all to default and also went in to make sure that i had the check marks where they needed to be.........

Have you removed any of the default chat channel tabs from your chat window?
