Nope. World of warcraft set a high bar but you have to understand that nw isn't wow or aoc or any other mmo. It's a game of itself and it's looking like we are not going to get arena type pvp .

I would just be happy to get a pvp leaderboard.

This game has been out well over 2 years( closer to 3)
And the entire pvp community has been asking for either a new map or if they cant afford to pay their developers to create a new domination map, then atleast some differebt game types in hotenow or rivenscare...

Tbh pvp is an afterthought for neverwinter... And thats why alot of the players originally all quit this game..

Hopefully now that the focus seems a little more serious with the xbox one release... Maybe, hust maybe we'll see something new for the pvp heads...

Ps. The leaderboard wont prove much... Same way it didnt prove much on PC.

What does the leaderboard even look like. Does it at least tell you your win % ?

I dont mind the mindless domination play as much as I thought I would, however a new map or even a capture the flag on the same map, something different mind go a long way for this game.

it has win loss, kill death as meanseason said. But I am not sure it worked fine. on Pc at one time I was in first place on the leaderboard, and I lost ranking by winning against lower ranked people. Like if I chose to fight lower ranked people. for that reason I cared more for the win loss ratio match of the leaderboards.

You didn't "lose ranking" you gained less (due to winning against "lower ranked") than others that gained enough to "pass" you in the rankings. So, as you went from, for example, an ELO rating of 40.5 to 40.6, others went from 40.3 to 41.3. That's how ELO rankings work -- you gain less for a win against lower ranks, and gain more against higher ranks.

The biggest problem with the leaderboard was Cryptic didn't show people their ELO rating, so people didn't know WTF was going on.
