artifact belt to ioun stone

when i give my ioun stone a articaft belt will i get the atributes ( for example +4 str)

    You can't equip artifact equipment to ioun stones.

    oh my god if that was possible and it actually gave the stats. LOL.

    I almost posted this same thread a week ago, but I decided to try it first and it just put a no smoking sign without the cigarette on the slot when I tried to drag it in.
