Eldritch in passive pets

Hello, I'd like to report a problem that me and my guildmates found in using the Eldritch runestones in passive pets, like for example Ioun stones and cats. As everyone knows, Eldritch runestones should give more stats from a pet if used in a defense slot. Unfortunately, when used in a pet that gives you stats even if not Legendary (e.g. cat and stone), it doesn't work at all, and using the above mentioned pets with or without Eldritch stone in defense slots doesn't change nothing in the stats obtained from it. Hoping you can solve this problem, I thank you for our willingness.

Tested on my Cat ,can confirm. It doesnt give stats for me either
