Merchant Vendor NPC's

I searched before posting, 2 threads from 2013 both saying not possible

But I could swear I saw an option for it while in the Foundry lately, but now that I want to use it, I can't find it.

How do I make a merchant vendor NPC? .. People complain they want potions during my maps.. I thought I saw an option to make an NPC behave like a vendor.. Did I imagine that?

It's not under behaviour.. Help?

You probably saw an NPC named merchant such-and-such. Unfortunately there is no way to add in that functionality. Eldarth came the closest I have seen, with his Calimport Arena quest. That gave "Money" as a quest item which could be used to buy things. However, you still can't get a vendor who can actually sell you anything using real gold, or anything you can take out of the Foundry.

But you can "simulate" things. In Arena of Calimport some of the things you can buy have "effects." Like Tears of Selune "potion" will "highlight" all the traps inside the arena with a ref glow.
