Jewel Crafting assets/resources not dropping in lockboxes?

While I cannot say with absolute certainty that they aren't dropping - I have opened more lock boxes than I care to admit, and I have yet to see any Jewelcrafting assets drop.

Am I missing something or just extra ordinarily unlucky?

FWIW, I have not checked the AH.

In my opinion, it is a screw up. Below relates to PC.

Jewelrycrafting was introduced just before TOD. There were special packs for the craft. They jewelery items were never added to the professions packs, same with Black Ice profession, special packs. These packs were Zen purchases.

I suspect that at some point they will realize the error (it's been mentioned in other threads, I think) and add the Jewelry pack to the Zen store.

Just to add, you can still get good results with out the packs. It will be difficult to get a speed bonus, but quality boost can be made using crucibles from alchemy. They are also a jewelry item.

That's... really irritating. The professions available in the packs ought to be in the description. I wasn't sure if Jewelcrafters weren't in the game or if I was just extremely unlucky. >.> Sucks relying on ONE item for quality, too. I was fortunate enough to get an epic crucible from a lockbox pack, but that's not going to cut it. 160% increased quality or bust! D: Granted, I've got a long way to go to get my JC that high since I'm stuck with Polishers. -_-

You are not stuck with Polishers. At level 6 you can upgrade 4 polishers to a Gem Setter, and at level 13, 4 Gem Setters to an assistant jewelcrafter (at this upgrade you also have a very very very very very small chance that it could be a green jewelcrafter).

Some word on when we might receive Jewelcrafting assets would be nice. As a side note, I saw a toon the other day that had two Personalized Archmage's Ring +6 and a Personalized Archmage's Necklace +6! I'm so jealous!

Jewelcrafting asset pack should be in the lockboxes when Tiamat is released sometime this month.

Man, that'd be nice. 300K+ AD Green Jewelcrafters will disappear soon. Yea!

Jewelcrafting assets in the Professions Pack and the special packs that drop from Lockboxes will be enabled in the upcoming module release.
