I started the Rogue because my level 60 Ranger was getting absolutely hammered by rogues just about every time. Sometimes I would not even damage the rogue for a single hit point! My theory is that I will learn how other players can beat me when I play as a rogue and I'll then know how to play my Ranger!!
So once I reached Level 10 I begun the PvP. My first match as the Rogue I got 6 kills to 4 deaths and came second overall. My second game I had about 8 kills V's 10 deaths but we still won the game with me coming in at 5th. Just then I played my third game and I came first with 7 kills and 5 deaths! My team has won every time so far. I've played 3 PvP matches as the Rogue!
I'm liking the rogue but I do feel like they are overpowered. I can beat both guardian fighters and Great weapons fighters in one on one battles.
So have I learnt how to overcome a rogue when playing the Ranger? NO!
Although I do believe Rogues are op after playing lvl 60 pvp as one, your ranger is probably poorly built. A well built HR is the one class that can shut down a rogue if built and played right. I wouldn't give up on your HR yet. I actually will be making and HR as my next class. And yes rogues can pretty much run through any class but a well built HR and CW seem to give them the most trouble.
You should just stick with your lvl 60 HR and rework its gear and powers, because they are one of the best when it comes to shutting down rogues such as myself. It's just that a lot of people don't build them correctly but once you get it right they can be down right scary. I've had a few nice 1v1 fights against properly build HR players from PvP guilds and it changes my perspective on HR. Everyone's getting tired of hearing these "TR Pwns PVP posts", as a TR i've met other properly built classes that kills rogues for breakfast
