Sanctuary broken?

I have been playing PvP for a while now with the Pally and I have sanctuary up for a while yet am still getting Crowd Controlled even though in the tooltip it says that while it is up we are IMMUNE to CC effects. This is particularly noticeable when a CW uses his/her skills.
Is it broken or am I missing some side notes that in PvP other classes can bypass that immunity?

    Yea, it's broken. Some CC powers just go trough like nothing :/
