Trade house Mail attachments bug?

When I logged on today I had 2 messages telling me I had sold items in the auction house. The first was dated 6:32PM and there was an attachment which I retrieved from the postal courier and received my astral diamonds. The second was dated April 23rd but didn't have an attachment and having checked my balance the astral diamonds haven't been received. Had already logged on today but hadn't checked my mail. The server was down for some time yesterday could this have affected it or is there a bug if the message is left unread for 24 hours?
