Starting a fight by losing more than half your health and then being dazed for 4 seconds isn't fair in the least. Yes, you can dodge if you are lucky enough to see them before they hit you, but smart rogues will never approach a target from the front. It might not even be that bad if Daze didn't lock out your escape roll/shift, but when you're dazed, not only can you not attack, but you can't even get away from the onslaught of attacks from the rogue.
I'd what the majority of people in this thread are doing but I've never seen rogues put up numbers anywhere near those against me and the people I play with. TRash is an annoying class and yes they do a lot of single target dps but that is what the class is meant to do. A good cleric can heal and buff so much they won't die. CW can molest you from further range than any class. HR can negate any damage and have 0 cool down on encounter says well as snare enemies. GF and GWF have their respective skills.
It ultimately comes down to your ability as a player and your team. If you run solo and don't spec correctly or use the right abilities and gear than you deserve to get dominate debt other classes.
I struggled against TRash for a while until my HR was 60 and put on the right gear and started using the right abilities.
And before anyone says anything no I don't have a TR and yes I hate the class as well. But I hate them for what they've turned into for the game everyone thinks they will be a God if they use the class and get destroyed. I agree it takes no skill to use a TR but it's also not very difficult to counter them.
My advice stop crying and play the game, this isn't CoD everything isn't supposed to be the same and every class does something different and has its purpose.

You know what, can't disagree with that. I agree 100%. And a well built HR does seem to be the best counter for a TR. And you said it best, my biggest gripe isn't the TR class itself but what the game has become because of it. Pvp is now overan with Rogue players looking for an "easy" path to victory. They def are the most annoying class to deal with but can indeed be dealt with. I just like giving these TR's a hard time because they swear there's so much skill and learning curve involved with doing well as a TR, which is simply not true. And in their eyes anyone who struggles with a TR is just a "nub" or needs to learn their class which isn't always the case.
Ran into a rogue who was on my team and was going around dominating and kept bragging in zone chat about how he's a "God" and no one can touch him. Of course everyone called him out on being a rogue. Now the dude was actually good but don't be a HAMSTER knowing you're playing the one class that can excel at pvp easier than other classes.
I have seen this game take leaps and bounds as far as balancing goes.
It used to be GWF Sent builds, regenning 2.4k a tick and literally impossible to kill, even with an entire team(unless they were very very well geared). GF and TR builds were also insane as far as regen goes. That all got changed and for good reason.
My personal opinion on playing the game for 2 years is it is the best it has ever been, as far as class balance.
I believe that as time goes on, people will complain less and less about TR's, because they will have more understanding in the game as a whole, as well as have better gear.
I feel bad iBoxy you have the opinion you do on TR's...they are a lot of fun to play. Of all the class's the most fun for me have been my TR and HR. In PvP and PvE.
