Players who max out their gear should remember that ultimately they are reliant on 'lesser' players continuing to play in order for Neverwinter to exist.
Finally a voice of reason.
As I said in another post.
It's not like we've not seen this happen to other games, yes ?
Changes are issued - big chunk of playerbase reacts badly - nothing is done about it - people leave the game - the game fails.
And if neverwinter fails, it means that all that $$ spent on getting top notch enchants and gear...goes down the drain for some of you...seriously ? don't you understand what's going to happen ?
Can't you wrap your heads around this or how the real world market works ?
You have invested serious money in something and the changes made to it have made a large chunk of smaller (but many, which equals a good deal of money) investors want to leave.
Many small investors leave because they see their voice is not heard or see the investment is not going anywhere because it hurts them less to do so cause they haven't spent big bucks like you (so it's easier for them to say bye bye)
And there goes a big ol' piece of the pie...
A serious lack of revenue
And in the end, the investment fails, and there goes the money you invested with it.

WHAT INVESTMENT ? do you call ordering a meal, or filling your car with gas an "investment" ? one game goes down and ppl will find next game and will throw their spare money at it. some ppl spend money on cars, some stack their rooms full of audio equipment, some ppl play games, stop crying about investments and whatnot

I ain't crying. I'm a small investor....
An invesment can bethe money or time you put in anything you expect to get results from.
There is not a single person on earth who throws money at anything except charity without expecting something in return.
Money, entertainment, services, a good time etc. etc.
Just for the sake of argument..
Putting gas in your car is not an Investment indeed
Your car IS though
The quality of Gas u put in may harm or keep your investment healthy and so on.
...you just need to see things from a different perspective
Don't worry.
You'll get it eventually
{edit} Hell now that I think of it...even the meal you order or eat is an investment.
The money you pay is an investment to your life.
You invest in bad food (fast and cheap)=shorter
You invest in healthy food (bit more expensive and maybe cook yourself?)= longer (more gaming time! yeaaaah!)
...so choose wisely!

Remember :
If it ain't fun they won't play.
If they don't play they won't pay.
If they don't pay, you won't play.
