What is it with Zombie Hulks?

Been meaning to ask this since... well, since Beta, really. On all of my characters, every class, no matter what I do, Zombie Hulks completely ignore me and go straight for my companion. Taunting them doesn't work, hitting them doesn't get their attention... it's like they have this obsession with companions. Granted, on squishier classes, that can be a good thing, but it's pretty annoying playing a melee class.
