I am really new to this game, but it looks like CW is the class for me.
That being said I really enjoy these games the most when I min/max.
After talking with a friend it seems like end game dungeons need CC for trash and then big dmg for bosses.
Is it possible to make a build that maximizes both as a Control Wizard?
That being said if I am looking to min/max, race, and starting stats what should I aim for?
Then I guess I just need talents and the core skills.
I looked at some builds but they all appear to be for Mod 5 (the last one?) So i am not sure if I can trust them.
Thank you so much to anyone who is willing to help.

Our controls come with a lot of damage, but our best controlling tree does the least damage. So if you want max control, you can't have max damage. If you want max damage, you can't have max control. You can, however, settle in the middle with lots of each. I suggest that you read http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?819531-Spellstorm-Renegade-Guide-Death-is-the-Best-Crowd-Control It was written for mod 5, but most of it is still true, and he is still testing mod 6 and updating this build.
Luckily, most of our control comes with a lot of damage.

Oh, and I believe Min/Maxers prefer Tiefling. I'd go for intelligence and charisma
For min/max start with a Tiefling with 18 int 18 char (this includes the +2 +2 from Tiefling). You could go dragon too i guess, but I'm not sure what the racial ability is.
Wizards have always been the god emperors of the pve game. It won't change anytime soon. The renegade build on the first page isn't bad at all although come level 70 you might have some notions of your own.

Also should I go for a 16/16 stat roll then, since my understanding is if I am hit I am dead basically.
