ehm, guys, if you want solo HE in IWD on Paladin then fresh 70 can do it just slot binding oath (your main damage reduction encounter), templars wrath (to sustain your hp pool), burning light (great damage and daze which last very long), auras don't matter much here but I go courage and radiant for more damage, and for daily divine protector (if things go south, no lay hands but 80% unmitigated DR for 20s will save your ***) and divine judgement at times when you feel you have damage under control. Same thing for GF and GWF steel defence just make your day and without it block/daring shout, iron warrior. On GF it's even easier than on Pal as sanctuary sometimes can bug at worst moment and shield is already 80% unmitigated DR, on the other hand positioning is much more important. Barbarians and Totem can be completed solo rather easy by this 3 classes when build properly, others I didn't try. I was doing it regularlry on Paladin 1.7k ilevel and without any enhancements just with purple cleric artifact, it took several minutes but doable.

Oath of Bonding is BUGGED atm doesnt do any damage back

I think it does return damage but it is rather small amount (I run kessel's retreat with only binding oath as offensive and I am normally 3rd on damage dealers, I see hp drop on mobs after release, also it was nerfed to 20% reflect from 50% as devs in epic dungeons in BiS gear got Paladin at top most of the time because of this encounter, yeah outside of ultra heavy hitting content it doesn't return anything back and is pretty much useless as hard taunt part doesn't work) as it is 20% of 50% and this is also mitigated by our armor, so numbers are small but with this on you don't have to worry about damage for 6-8 seconds and just damage/charge burning light to heart's content, rotation templars -> binding -> burning light is safe and deadly. I am just telling that I with this combo with 1.7k Paladin was doing better solo barbarians than you in video, that's all. With binding I can live without activating divine protector here even once and throwing judgements frequently (DC artifact helps here tremendously). On totem with your encounter choice you will die rather fast when first divine protector ends.
Pally can take more damage without the shield thanks to all the temp hp he can get, but GF is a DPS monster in comparison.
Pally dmg is ridiculously low, even with DPS feats, you will outlast everything, but will have long fights with everything.
