Horrible MC lag

Tried to do Malabog's Castle twice today. The lag was horrendous during the boss fights. So bad that it would freeze for a few seconds. It was like playing stop and go. I didn't know if I was even alive or dead 99% of the time and no, this is not graphics or computer related on my end. Everyone in my party got it and anyone that entered after felt it too.
For once I wanted to finish MC and get it under the belt, there goes that idea until something is "fixed".
