Auction House & Unscheduled maintenance?...

So, I'm selling and bidding on stuff in the Auction House, up pops unscheduled maintenance,.. just when the auctions are supposed to be ending?.... what happens?... Have I lost the chance to bid on the items I was watching? or will it restart the auctions at the point where the maintenance started?.....

    Yeah, timers run down in real time.

    And it wasn't "unscheduled maintenance"; it was posted on forums, Gateway character page and launcher screen. It just started 3 or so minutes early -- which is annoying but not unusual, so don't try to do stuff last minute. (I still tried to invoke one more time and got half-way through, so now half my alts are on a different invoke timer from the others...)
