The Mother Lode Quest

is it just me or is it bugged ? i follow the bread crumb trail to the first stump with an axe on it ,there is a journal sitting there .i click it , it says its weathered but still readable and i have only one choice "goodbye" and i cant go forward on the quest even after a full reboot.

    There are axes laying on the ground from the stump to a cave wall. The particle trail does not show the trail of axes, it just shows the starting point.

    thank you so much lol i would have been upset if i couldnt have done the quest im making sure i do every quest offered

    It's a difficult trail to follow so I'll give you one hint: frozen waterfall. Good luck. It's a better reward than a lot of other quests.

    yeah i ended up finding it. was a tad tricky the game makes u dependent on the bread crumb trail then just throws u a curve ball lol
