T2 gear. What's the point?

I've taken a look at the various T2 sets (even the elemental enhanced ones) compared to the basic T1 sets.
The upgrades are very minimal and I don't see them impacting your performance in any meaningful way.
I compared one piece and the upgrade was something like +150 HP, and +20 in 3 stats. Is it worth going through the hell of T2 (old) dungeons just for that?

    Yep, agree with OP. And I wont do black ice either, +500-1000 hp, minimal stat bonus for 50k BI and 10 Unified elements is a joke.
    My story is truly a grand tale! Of course, any story about me is going to be grand simply by virtue of the main character.

    Yeah, this clearly wasn't very well thought out, these sets will need a MASSIVE buff to survivability to become even remotely practical. Unfortunately this creates problems for PVP, but to be fair, people are dying very quickly in PVP right now.
