So finally my computer fixed itself LOL so I can play again after 4 days, so how long do you think it will take my computer to "fix itself" and get my SOUND back. Anyone else have no sound? yes sounds works for every fracking thing on my puter except NW, all drivers up to date blah blah blah

Did you verify sound output device is correct in both launcher and in-game settings?

Bring up the Game Launcher, click Options, and in the "Advanced command line" box.
    Then enter this: -ignorex64check
The -ignorex64check should prevent the game from checking if the system/drivers are 64-bit, and will generally resolve the issue.

If this does not work, click Force Verify.

thx for both suggestions, i don't know how anything would have been changed and it's a laptop so there really is only one output device but I'll check, as far as force verify, it's been verified a dozen times at least in the past few times

This may sound a bit strange, but start the game (with that command line in), then just leave it for a couple of minutes with your character doing nothing.

(oh, and just making sure that your on demand patching is turned off).
