Grinding, what is it good for?

I'm a fresh Level 70, in need of AD and plenty of playing time. What should I be grinding for to sell to the whales?

I get the sense that the whales are going to be disappointed in that they will have to earn their stuff. What should I be grinding for to help alleviate them of some of their AD. I'm hoping for something other than refinement fodder.

Grinding is good for the mental state, when you go through grinding, the amount of rage you feel is so high, that nothing in this world will faze you or infuriate you anymore after you're done with it.
    Beta player

One of the many Control Wizards that misses Shard Of The Endless Avalanche. RIP Shard (Beta-Mod3)

    - any blue/purple marks (power/union/potency/stability) -->next 2x RP will come ... and prices will explode cause everyone will need them! stack them now.
    - any refinement points (see above)

Where do you get those things?

Lemme hear your items which are worth grinding!

ROFL!!!! Do you think a fresh level 70 player with 10k gs can get any of these? they need Great Successes to get the dragon bones and the other things need strong gear for the strong "end game" instances.

You trade your life for their AD. Good trade.

Obviously not. But he does point out a lot of people have missed that memo. Ao knows, I've seen plenty of posts about it. So it might indeed be worth grinding for.

    Good point.

Also, I thought about it for a while and found the prospect of having to re-grind all that Eeeevil 1980ies-8bit-quest-complexity Elementary school stuff with my alts quite less than appealing. But so do I find "Blood, toil, sweat, and Tia's".

Still, it might be worth the tradeoff to shred some ToD campaign Dragons for the small stuff, buy Bone, Gem on AH, and Steel from vendor, and craft the weapon. Which them would create the need to buy the off-hand with Linu's. Meh.

    It's a lose-lose-dilemma...

T1 dungeons (the 1600 ones). Not that the 2000 bosses are unkillable, but they're harder and the best boe rewards have been (smartly or not) hidden in the easiest places so that even filthy casuals (who like thinking mod 6 is a conspiracy from top players) can farm it and get rich. Made a few millions farming these easy thing this week.

So you're saying T1 dungeons are easy for a fresh level 70? I haven't done any in mod 6 yet but I hear otherwise...

Im wondering if grinding in mod 6 is good for nothing in fact. At least in the other mods you could grind for boons, in mod 6 you are grinding for gear, boons are forever gear not so much...
