Major Action Point Gain Jewel doesn't apply

I finished today two Major Action Point Gain Jewels and when I try to reinforce my Greater Lathander's Cloak or my Greater Plated Band of Constitution it doesn't apply.

    I am having the same problem with the action point gain jewel. Could all of them be bugged?

    The action point gain jewel doesn't work for me either on pre- or post-Mod 6 items.

    Were you attempting to reinforce currently equipped gear, or gear in your bags?

    I could not reinforce equipped gear, but removing it allowed me to apply the reinforcement.

    Some gear doesn't have necessary slots. Check this in gateway - gear must have additional (invisible in-game) slot.

    Try to apply the kit after unequipping the item. I applied a major ap kit to my greater plated band. ( and mah gemmed rings/necklace)
