Found a Workaround for "No Shards Available" on XBL

for the past few days ive been getting

No Shards Available, please try again later..

this is a simple workaround till they get it fixed.

On the screen with the grayed out PLAY press Y, Sign Out, Press A, Sign In...

You now can play!

    I only get this screen. I've been able to play 1 hour over the last 2 weeks. Logging out and in again does not work.

    When I am able to select the "play" option, I get an account server , login server or game server timeout error. Are there not enough xbox servers for us all?
