THe Plauge Tower bugged while trying to do in a group

While running the Plague Tower mission for Sergeant Knox we noticed a something Strange.
1. Entered tower in a group (3 of us in the group)
2. Spoke to Know the first time watched Linkletter run off
3. Fought mobs till we reached the tower.
4. Spoke to Knox again at the end of the conversation window he tells you to go into the tower and the reply says good luck Sergeant or something similar. It would not let us continue the quest it would error and say someone else in the party needs to choose the option. we all tried it and bupkis. nothing.
5. Left the area and came back still the same thing.
6. Abandoned the quest and went back to Knox and accepted the quest again.
7. Group went into the plague tower and this time we couldn't even select the first conversation item. Same error conversation choice grayed out says another member needs to select. We tried the leader and everyone else talking to him.
8. Left tower quit out of group.
9. Went back into tower solo.
10. Was able to talk to Knox finish quest line all the way through the tower to completion.
