Hello,

the tactician's feat Martial Mastery allows one to get action points while taking damage, so it says. Does this mean that when I increase my deflection chance will I get less action points as a consequence? Or do I still get action points even when an attack was deflected?

I will just leave this here for you.

And yes.... With the right build and gear you can almost go full on untouchable for long periods of time and the damage you are soaking recharges your daily. That daily then is used to heal yourself.. Kinda OP but it is VERY effective.

Thanks. However, after reading through it does it still not answer my question. The player in the article uses the Clercis' artifact to gain action points fast and he also went with mostly protector's feats. My question still is if I can build action points with Martial Mastery, a tactian's feat, when I deflect an attack.

I am going to assume it is yes, because when deflecting do I still take 50% of damage and the feat says that one gains action points on taking damage. So logically it should work. I just thought I ask to see if anybody knows for sure.
    Stay frosty.
