Need to know on broken character background...

Before I continue playing... I need to know if this will be fixable without starting my character over?

    I dont think anyone here will have that answer. It may or may not be.

    Tried asking under Bug Reports and got nothing...

    Yeah im sure they wont have an answer as it was an unexpected bug. I would just choose the background you prefer and hope they are able to keep it that way after the fix.
