I spend all day helping people,I love and I care for everyone .I want to save the world and everyone on it .I am proudly a good person in real life or at least I work hard to be one.
I am not that person in rp .I want to destroy you ,I want to watch neverwinter burn to the ground and rebuilt in honor of the draco supporters out there.
Paladins mean nothing to me.
Why are we forced to follow certain paths ? Allow us to choose our fate and to whom we dedicate our rp wills to .
I think it`s time for players to have a choice between the lies of light and the truth of darkness ingame.
Let us decide our rp plz. Give us the path of light and darkness . Give us the rp that follows , because some of us dont play online gaming rp to mirror real life ,some of us play for fun.

Make the rp more dynamic and the gameplay to follow .I think d&d is great but in all honesty I picture a dynamic ever changing Universe rather than the same ole copy a book game play. Break the boundaries and evolve,allow us to grow and make a new storyline.

Simple solution: The deity, country of origin, and other specifics on your character sheet are simply what you *have to* declare to the guards upon entering Neverwinter. If you follow this idea, then your actual place of origin and deity that you follow, can certainly be something else. It's just that telling the guards that you are a follower of Lolth or Shar won't get you into the city, which you need in order to further your god's goals.
As for things like the names of powers or their effect - there's no reason an evil deity wouldn't aid his or her followers, (with things like healing), and you as a player can choose to grant or not to grant said gifts to whomever you so wish.

The whole problem with "Evil" fraction is, it just doesn't often work. There are really only two ways it can go with Neverwinter, either you are evil in name only and still doing all the good quests and campaigns. Or there would need to be an entirely new leveling and adventure path, basically a completely new game. This would be more work then any module, or several modules to date, and it would be something only a subset of the community might do or enjoy. It would be hard to justify such time and expense for something that would serve no real function other then to divide the community into two distinct groups that would have little reason to group together.
The other problem would be, how would you even begin to make evil play interesting or even winnable in a way that isn't lore breaking? So you join the dragon cult, work your way up from nameless minion to lackey for one of the major evils. Because its a given that you will never get to be the big evil of the world. Evil players will have to take missions from more prominent NPCs just like the good guys. So you become the right pinky of the right hand of some nameless doom. You beat the good guys and the villains win, then Tiamat stomps you into the ground, or the Elemental primordials roast you, or Valindra murders you and turns you into a loyal zombie. And even if you mange to avoid this problem of death to your evil masters, evil still wins, the world is over. I just cant see Wizards of the Coast signing off on that. And that leaves the only real solution being evil always looses, you never get to release Tiamat or unleash the Primordials onto the world. And that means the best an evil campaign can hope to do is end in a draw. And that is something that is going to be hard to sell people on.
