I wish the Dev or who ever is in charge would release a item drop chance list after the release of Mod6 that way it will show if they really fixed the reward system and will motivate more players to stay and play more......because i don't like doing a dungeon or what ever and not knowing my chances of getting a desired item and relying on some unbalanced reward chance let me know what you all think...
It will never happen. It's a no win for Cryptic. If the rate is good people will complain that it devalues drops and makes them worthless. If it's to low people will complain about the grind and how unfair it is. Then you also have the people convinced that no matter what number is presented, its wrong or inaccurate. "You said this cloak has a 20% chance to drop. I've done this 6 times and still don't have it. Your game is broken!"
There is honestly no incentive for Cryptic to subject themselves to this. And by keeping it private they can make tweaks to it without having to make official statements each time

They don't exactly like giving out their percent numbers (or formulas that they use to calculate drop rate) like that. They prefer to keep things cryptic.
You act like them publishing a statement saying "you have a x% chance to get this item from this dungeon" will fix an "unbalanced reward chance" as you phrased it. Honestly all it will most likely serve to do is show players how sucky the drop rate is for what they want and cause less people to do the dungeon/skirmish/heroic encounter not motivate people to play more to get a drop with a bad drop rate.

Games rarely release any of that data...the reason we have it for games like WoW is players can use add-ons to collect the data, and make guesses based on the data from millions of players.

That is true. Any "drop chance" data I have seen in other games was compiled by players over time.

That kind of thinking is entirely wrong, because is 20% for every single drop and cannot be summed up to 120%.
But in the same time 20% individual change must produce on average ~200 000 results our of 1 000 000 tries if there is no outside influence.
Wouldn't matter if they did show you the drop chances as the NW RNG could still hand you 20 failures in a row with a 90% chance of success without batting an eye. Better info would be compiling actual drop rates in the game to get the real drop chances after all the secret modifiers to the success percentage are factored in. Compiling such data would be a daunting task so very few take the time to create anything reliable.
