Quick math: 1 million AD spent on current gear will net 400k RP if you use it to refine the new gear in a few weeks, maybe 800k on double RP weekend, but if you are willing to wait for that event, your 1 million would net out to 2 million.

Either way, you will lose 60% of your RP, so dont do it.

    Thats for artefact GEAR.

For artefacts, you should use enchants. They get a upgrade and dont get exchanged in MOD 6, so go ahead, if you dont want to wait for double RP weekend.
Chars: CW, DC, GF, GWF, HR and TR.

I'd say save everything until next mod hits.. You'll need a massive amount of RP !

Can lvl 60 blue gear and weapons be used to refine the new (lvl 70?) artifact gear and weapons?

Artifacts... Those will stay as they are.

I'd keep the stackables (RefStones, Enchantments and Gems) - you won't profit from not waiting this one more week. Especially the universally useable gems.

Unless you're really out of storage space, that is. And then I'd rather dump some of the lower rank enchantments, which might or might not cram up your mules' inventories, into some already-high-but-not-too-high rank enchantment that you'll eventually upgrade (R7 or R8). That way you can still profit from those without kicking off a long committment project - like filling up RP on an R9.

Save the higher rp value stones/gems. Use the lower value rp ones to top-off existing artifact gear to the next level if is close to next level

1 point if I use an artifact belt to level and artifact belt , don't i get double the RP? that would make it 80%

Normal artifacts yeld more than 100% of their RP investment when you put them into another artifact of the same type.
    Equipment artifacts yeld 40%.

If you are full of stones and have no place to store them, trow them into 1 artifacts, or make another char with bank slots.
Don't waste RP's on equip. artifacts.

No. the 40% calcualtion already contains this x2 bonus.

Your Lvl 60 ArtiWepon, taht swallowed 4645kAD to level up there is worth 929k RP. x2 = 1858k - which then brings the new weapon to Lvl 48.

    1858 = 40% of 4645

I pushed my Aurora's Catalogue up to mythic on my main, hoping for some better health potions.

Nope. You can buy unbound Superior Healing potions which insta-heal for 11k, but those aren't nearly as good as the Distilled Greater ones that insta-heal for 9500 and then give you another 4-5k or so over time.

    Caveat emptor.

Anyone have the answer to this? Say i obtain my lvl 70 artifact weapon now, through the campaign. Even though I can't equip it (lvl 62) can I feed it greens and blues that I find as I level up? I'm guessing the gear I feed into it needs to be level 70, but I thought I would ask.

That is only true until around level 92 where you won't get less than 100% rp return.
