It appears as though Neverwinter has not yet received classification by the Australian Classification Board, see the replies in the following Twitter feed:
The suggested workaround proposed by @Austacker in that thread has worked for me. Switch your Xbox Region to U.S. (settings > system > location), then restart the console. Now browse for "Neverwinter" in the Xbox Store and it will be available for download. Hopefully the game will be playable come Tuesday and we won't be region locked out of the game servers.
Thanks for the update and @Austracker is right. We played in the beta's and its out on the PC. How can it not get classification, it's already been out for over a year. Not cool
This is concerning and indicates that the publisher really doesn't care about Neverwinter on XB1.
Firing a whole bunch of staff before release
Significantly less content than on PC
No real effort to promote
Didn't bother to seek classification for one of the largest non US markets and never announced that they weren't releasing in Australia
Lame.
Disappointing because the actual game was great during Beta. I bought a few Founder's Packs (including the really expensive one) on PC and would do so again on the XB1.
However, they clearly don't want my business so $#$# em. Plenty of other gaming companies willing to have me as a customer.
For those of you who have switched to the US shop and downloaded, you will likely have to buy another Live subscription (for the US shop) to play. Just FYI. An addition #$@# you to the customer.

Why are you trolling?
Yes, staff were let go just before XB1 release - unfortunate for those involved, but stuff like this happens (happened to me NINE TIMES so far).
LAUNCHING with less content - the other modules are being introduced gradually.
No effort to promote? Do a Google search for 'neverwinter xbox one' - you get 1,780,000 results. Not bad for something not being promoted.
Classification has been SOUGHT in Australia, but not yet GRANTED - that's the fault of the classification board, NOT Cryptic or PWI, and AT NO POINT has anyone said that it's NOT going to be released in Australia, just delayed.
If you have nothing constructive or truthful to say, why bother saying anything at all?
I swear so many MMO's miss out on so much by not empathizing as much / Putting money into servers for their OCE customers. I like spending money on games just as much as any US or EU citizen does, But I hate having a 300-400 ping at all times.
Why wont anybody give a straight answer about this? Just something from the DEVS such as "It with the classification board now, maybe within a week!??" Its unacceptable to leave us hanging like this! Please somebody in the know respond.
Boro, he's not talking about when the servers open up. Australian players are potentially stuck in a legal rut due to their ruling body having a horrible understanding of video games. Games cannot be released without being rated and approved, and even though Neverwinter has been available on the PC for a long time they seem to be counting the XBox release as a new and separate game. There is a chance that Australian players will be unable to log in at launch, and no one directly involved seems inclined to comment.
Hey mate in an Aussie and I'm in playing now. All u have to do is swap your region to America download the game from the America store then switch back your region to Australia and start playing. It a crappy way to go about it but it works.
Kiwi from New Zealand here wanting the same information.

This is the only official info available on it. Its right there in the known issues sticky.
-Australia Release
Neverwinter is currently in the process of receiving its Australian rating and will be available on Xbox Ones with their regions set to Australia in the coming month.
So, from the sound of it. Its going to be a bit of a wait.
Yeah, as Hellfire stated, you can download and play (I am level 6 now) , just need to first switch to US region, download, switch back to AUS and your good to go.
I got a US pre-pay XBLM card, and while in the US region was able to load a few Zen onto my account.
But that's a lot of hoops to jump through.

I've installed Neverwinter from the US store (I'm in New Zealand) and the game works fine - but like dyi4n, I can't purchase Zen. I'm not going to buy a US pre-pay card just for this, that's crazy.
If I buy Zen on the PC version, will it carry over?
If not, how long until we can legitimately put money in the slot? I want to support the devs but they are making it hard
Yep. We're not actually the same countries with the same laws - delaying in NZ (which is a separate XBL region to AU!) shows that someone in Legal doesn't have access to a globe any fifth-grader would know how to use.
I had the same problem u can get around it though because it doesn't have a rating in Australia go to your xbox settings the go in to your location and change it from Australia to the United states reset your xbox then go back into the store and it will let u download it once that is done u can swap your location back to Australia hope that helps my mate showed me how to do it
Still no word for a NZ release so I can stop skirting the rules with US points cards.
