    Chilling Cloud, it can hit multiple targets, so when it a cast crits, there are more strikes the storm spell has the possibility to proc on.

    Single target would be Ray of Frost. Highest rate of fire means highest number of crits/second.

    But spamming at-wills to try and force Storm Spell procs is a terrible way to DPS.

    I understand, in dg's like Tiamat would be better spamming MM or Ray of Frost? Thanks for the replies guys ;)

    When my encounters are down, I use RoF.

    RoF on single target, CC on aoe. Or Storm Pillar but who uses it? :)

    Maximizing the use of Storm Spell is de facto meta for current CWs and will probably remain so in the MOD6 when it comes down to SpellStorm mages. This is quite possibly the only real damage CWs can do in the current state.

    That being said you should use Chilling Presence in combination with Chilling Cloud if there're multiple targets.

    If you have Artifact Weapon that's increasing your Chilling Cloud chance to apply a Chill on a target on 1st and 2nd cast, you want to strike targets on the sides of the group

    ->OooooooO<-

    With the third cast of Chilling Cloud stringing at the center of the group as much as possible.

    ooo->O<-ooo

    Remember, more targets with chill - better damage with Chilling Presence.

    But this is only if there're mobs around that have a decent amount of HP and won't become dead in a manner of seconds and your spells are on a cooldown. You may use this to cast two rotations of chilling cloud before using the next best spell - Steal Time.

    However, a good way to build up stacks of Arcane, aside form casting Oppressive force, is to cast a few of Magic Missile which can easily dispose of weaker mobs and if you're a renegade imho have a better chance to proc buffs for the party than chilling cloud.
