So, due to the login issues yesterday - which were no fault of my own - I lost the simultaneous invoke days I had...
...which is precisely why the current system absolutely sucks IMHO.
Please Cryptic, if you are not going to fix the current system, then you should be prepared to compensate people when they cannot log in do to issues that are on your end.

Yeah me too, but stuff happens, what really tics me off is that they new they had issues but no notification, nothing on twitter , nothing on FB, So I spent an hour trying to figure it out, sent a ticket , emailed a moderator and posted a thread, when if they had just told us it would have saved me a lot of time and effort
You were unable to log into Sword Coast Adventures on the Gateway Web Site? You can invoke there, too - through the web. You don;t gain any new rewards or coins, but it resets the timer for you to start a new 30 hour stretch, so you do NOT lose any coins. I just thought I'd mention it in case you may not have been aware.

I knew you could invoke there, but didn't know it reset the timer (which I thought you could only do in-game). Good to know thanks.
Regardless though, I didn't try the gateway as I thought people were unable to log in there as well.
At any point, I still think the system needs serious tweaking as the timeframe is insane when you consider all the complications that can arise.
Pfft, quit complaining, it's a free to play game, you should be thankful you get anything at all from invoking, honestly...
Hey, Kata you know what happens when you assume right?
Not all of us are freeloaders. Some of us have spent money on this game and do feel like we've invested our hard-earned money on it, even if others do not.
So stop acting like the white knight and assuming everyone spends nothing and therefore deserves nothing. Um-K.
You can't invest money in invoking. It's nothing gamebreaking either. Sure it's annoying when you lose your coins, but stuff happens in every game. Don't turn a goblin into a dragon. You'll get another chance next week.
Don't worry sir, a bag full of unbound coalescent wards is coming your way, now stop crying please.
This response would have been fine, but you added "stop crying" at the end, which is something NO ONE should use on the forums. All this does is HAMSTER people off. Serves no purpose but to belittle others . . .
What did you lose? In all likelyhood, a Peridot and a rank 4 Azure. There goes your winnings! Open up 2 more skill nodes and call it a draw.
Well said! Puts this into real-game perspective.
I have had the same thing happen to me in this game, and even other minor annoyances such as (1) invoking but receiving nothing, (2) completing a professions task and receiving nothing, etc. They were a little annoying, but considering how many times I attempted all such activities, the occurrence of said events was less than 1% of the time.
It is a game with some bugs, but if you enjoy the content in general, don't let the little things get you upset. After all it is only a game. The real world is much more exciting and rewarding, for most people anyway . . .

Don't give them excuses. When gaming studios care about their players, they usually find a way to solve the issue or compensate them.

True, but could have been worded less offensively. . .
Good wording!

Awesome post! Agree with your critique on every comment.
I'm not a difficult person and really I'm already over the loss. The coins are not a big deal honestly, I just think the system they have in place is a bit ridiculous, which was pretty much the main reason for my post. It's the principle of the thing, not the loss of coins.
In the grand scheme of things it's not important, but then again on that note, is anything that's game-related?
I think that the point is, 'if the Neverwinter team is going to design a system that requires that the servers be available for 7 consecutive days, then they should make the server available for 7 consecutive days'.
Accidents, downtime, and bugs are unavoidable, but players shouldn't be 'punished' for them. That said, I really don't care about coin streaks. I just want to play some Sword Coast Adventures

Just spoke with my imaginary friend, who also happens to be an imaginary doctor. He says that you'll live.
