lvl 70 BiS jewelcrafting gear have incorrect items in their recipes

The lvl 70 BiS Jewelcrafting gear still has lvl 60 items listed as part of their recipes instead of using the lvl 70 equivalent.

So for example -

This lvl 70 item should be used to make.


This.


But instead it uses this lvl 60 item in the recipe.


Now if this is WaI then cool ,it makes acquiring the lvl 70 BiS jewelry easy but if it is WaI then what is the point of the lvl 70 jewelry with only one enchantment slot?

I find JCing very confusing right now.

-- The lvl 22 green aberrant/adamant jewelry is made from replenishment jewelry, rather than wizard -- so it is a side step, rather than a progression

-- These new-material green items are not used in the endgame jewelry; instead we're back to using wizard again

-- lvl 20 gemmed jewelry creates lvl 25 personalized BiS jewelry, so no use is made of the new endgame materials

-- wizard jewelry creates the Gemmed Exquisite jewelry, which have the same stats as the personalized but only 1 slot. Again, no use of the new materials

I guess the point of the lvl 70 Gemmed Exquisite jewelry is that you can sell it on the AH, so people who don't want to level JCing can still get higher stats, but only 1 slot.
