So, will these events be on the Xbox version? The website really need an FAQ for the xbox version.

    It would appear so, as the posts state that Xbox will be getting '... all content up to Tyranny of Dragons..' at launch. They've actually been highlighting several 'spotlights' on their news sections regarding the Xbox One version, and as the in-game economy was featured on the last one, I'd imagine 'events' will crop up soon.
