A suggestion: Add a way to quickly swap powers/skill slots

I think it would be nice to add a way to quickly swap powers. I use different powers when confronting a boss enemy vs Mob enemies. I find it tedious to change my power slots(dragging them in the slots one by one) every time I need to confront a different type of enemy(boss vs mobs). Basically I want to swap single target power over AoE powers when confronting bosses (Ex:Steal Time Vs Ray of Enfeeblement etc...). Wouldn't it be great that with one click, for example: Pressing Alt + 1 ,all your powers slotted would instantly be changed to your desired powers. To balance this, we can put a restriction where in you can only swap powers if all your current skills are not in cooldown.

IMO this would be great :)

One of the most asked features. There is a way to swap the powers fast with some bind chat commands though, but I believe it's somewhat near to exploiting, even it's just a really minor one :D

As a GF and having a party dungeon build and a solo build I very much like this idea.

Yes please give us a way to easily swap between solo, group, and raid sets! That would be awesome!

Been one of the most asked things since Beta. I've started several threads containing it myself. To implement a sort of 'A/B swappable hotbar config' where you could say line up AoE in one and a single target lineup in the other, with a click on like the corner of the power bar or something. LIke what DDO had back when I used to play it. Think their concern is people abusing it to swap to refreshed powers too fast to try and double their output in PVP especially. So- on that note, then add a damned cooldown to it just the same as when we use the clunky-slow-pain-in-the-A** UI box to drag and drop.

They need to do something about this. 2 friggin years without this simple and wanted and USEFUL feature is long enough.

This has been suggested regularly for the passed 2.5 years.

    They will never implement it.

There is a (slightly) less tedious way to swap than dragging the powers to your tray. Open you powers window, and right click on the power you want to swap out for. It will bring up a dialog allowing you to select which current power to replace. It's not a quick-swap feature, but it is a little bit less annoying.

As a DC I use a different load out when I heal than when I DPS. Its slow and annoying to have to manually swap them out. I'll do it and I won't complain about it, but it would make life so much easier if I could just have 2 or 3 different sets of loadouts saved and be able to swap them at the click of a button. You could even restrict it to at campfires/ in PE only and I'd be fine with that.

Guild Wars I had it spot on. Your entire build could be encoded as a short string of characters. You could load and save a build to disk, PM it to someone or post it in chat (or even post it on a website) and they could view it, and apply it to their own toon assuming they have unlocked the required skills. That particular system included the points allocation so in NW it would be equivalent to a full free respec but there is no reason why it could not be applied to just the skill bar in NW. Of course, it is probably a low priority but it would see us being more flexible in our builds. I'm sure many folk are like me in that they stick with the same "general purpose" skill bar for pretty much everything rather than tweak it for a particular boss/mission.

Yeah, pretty much the only time I ever change skills is on my DC and I need to heal. Otherwise I stick with an all purpose bar for dpsing on all my characters.

The only way too make it happen is to swap ur Skill-bar "Only out of combat ",
other way it's too overpowered for pvp,it's why they don't do this already.

...would be great to have a number of chooseable preselects, between which you could alternate at campfires.

In the last AMA on Reddit, they said they're looking into power swapping so you can have multiple loadouts.
