Just now in Icewind Dale, both my buddy and I were instantly killed from full hitpoints at the same time by a rogue. The log said "<redacted> gives you 0 hitpoints with kill".

What is this? How can a rogue kill two fully geared fully healthy toons in one hit???? :confused:

    what attack was used?

    i bet the rogue was whisperknife. i guess theyre starting to discovered the hidden secret

    well all the log said is "with kill", what attack is that??

    ok but HOW did he kill you ?!?!! you just couldnt die out of nowhere

    what did you see in your screen? what did he hitu with?

    Stealth > Shocking execution would be the case but you say both got killed at the same time?

    i thik i got it

    Whirlwind of blades maybe??? but the daily sux now since it doesnt bypasss DR like it used to do... it doesnt hit as hard anymore.

    i recognized these problems with the log myself lots of times, no comment about what the rogue did to you when dropping dean to the ground, same description <redacted> gives you 0 hitpoints with kill
    SE you would have heared
    i guess you both have not very much tenacity and health when beeing oneshotted?

    it was shocking execution with some weird interaction. Only SE is doing that so far, but not many people reporting it, devs wont know how to fix it.

    The OP said it was in Icewind dale, no one ever reported that while being in a pvp domination match. Now, this is happening in pvp matches, and companions were always active in IWD, and are now in pvp because of new module. So it is a wrong interaction with a companion, i reported it; yet i was warned because i was reporting a "exploit".

    U get that message when u r w8ing to being ressurected by another player(or scrolls) and enemy executes u with a kick in da face.

    If u r intrested in how he 1shoot u, u should have looked like 3 or 4 lines above this in ur log.

    Well men hacks and cheats will always be in online games ... I have seen "strange" things too but these ppl if cheating will be banned for sure.

    Trust me.

    Empirically speaking, around 8~9 out of 10 anecdotes rarely - if ever - relay the correct information about what really went down. People remember things the way they think it happened, or what they felt when it happened.

    Stop making excuses. Be a man.
    If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
    Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
