I can store all the refining stones but the gear I pick up is just too abundant to store and use later for refining mod 6 stuff, sooooo I was thinking I got a ton of art belts from heralds, so what if I refine THOSE with dropped gear and then use it to refine the new gear later basically storing the refining gear? I had a blue catalogue artifact that I didn't want anymore so I used it to refine a new artifact and it leveled it WAY up, thoughts anyone?

you cant refine belts to use them as refining rather without losing tons of rp.
an orange belt worth 4.6M rp used as refining is only worth 1.8M

tldr never use items for refining

be that as it may, it's better than no RP at all. And those useless greens do take up a lot of space. Even gaining only half later is better than a full inventory so you can't play at all.

...absolutely. assuming the "40% recovery" that's circling the forum, you'd get 40 RP for 125 AD if you have to buy the scrolls. You find a lot of those, too, so it's actually less... ...peridot stacks come at roughly 50k RP for 120k AD, so that's comparable. And peridot prices will surely climb when the people start hitting 70...

You'd be better off buying the character slots while they're on sale, and using one or both of those characters to temporarily store the items, (assuming they are BoE or BtA).

Ummm.... ...when I ran my dailies in IwD I got like 30 to 50 green drops each time. Gotta buy quite some character slots, considering they come with only a 30 slot bag and 16 bank slots. Also, you gotta run them through endless cinematic scenes to PE, first.

Exactly, first my slots are full and I won't spend any more money on this game unless certain things change so storing them is not an option. Second I realize I won't get full value so the alternative is to keep refining my arty weapon and belt which I think is gonna be more of a waste of RPs than what I will lose on the belt.
Anyway just thought I'd put it out there in case someone hadn't thought of it. My artys are just over the last level up so I'm gonna go this route. I know I won't get full value but some is better than none
