here is my general feedback since playing over a month on test server.
do NOT release this next week!
go BACK to the drawing board on the whole level 70 scaling thing. seriously, this is #1 priority, you can NOT release this.
build 2-3 new dungeons or skirmishes, fill them with new gear sets (SETS). I can't speak for everyone but I can't be alone here, we do not want to grind IWD or Tiamat all over again... why?
create a campaign for this mod, with boons.
FIX all the bugs. literally hundreds of bugs on this forum still not fixed. why do you have a test server at all if you don't fix bugs players find??
seriously, I have played this game since beta and I like it. some parts more than others... but I have stuck with it. if you release this mod in this state on Tuesday you will have lost me and likely thousands of players like me. there is simply no reason to keep playing. why? we just become weaker at level 70. we have to grind all new level 70 gear.. for what? there is literally nothing to do except farm the same old zones we been doing for a year.

I'm really hoping that they will release new gear sets onto preview on Friday for us to look at , I seriously cannot believe that here we are less than a week before it is supposed to go live and we have barely seen any new gear sets at all , it's kind of a ridiculous situation .

They aren't going to push it back. Past experience shows they always do things at the last minute to force mod releases out. Yeah, it sucks, but at least it keeps things interesting...
Pretty sure they're contractually obligated to release in lockstep with the PnP schedules, come Hell or high water.
I'm personally willing to suspect a healthy dose of Executive Meddling at work (again), but one thing I really don't get is their approach to these preview tests. Seems to me like their timetable for prevserver patches is both too rigid and too widely spaced; I mean, here as before there's time for what, four to six builds to go into testing? And the final one only days before the mod goes live...
I dunno, just seems like a pretty inefficient and not a little counterproductive way to go about it to me.
I predict two, if not three "maintenance patch shutdowns" on Tuesday.
There will be plenty of bugs and issues and a lot of what was reported. But on Tuesday, and the rest of the week will be the show-stoppers that they shut down the servers for emergency patching. This is why I'll likely play very little this coming week, and possibly even hold-off creating a new plain class (or keep in mind the one I do create may become temporary fodder).
Fasten your seatbelt, folks, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
having done software development myself, including a mmo, I'm sure they have newer builds internally that they don't release on the test server. we can only hope.... that they fixed most of the major bugs. but I'm pretty sure we won't get things like, campaigns, new dungeons, etc..
omg u guys are sick, stop the mimimi and go cry in the hell other game. u cry now and next week u are 24h online
DIGO, you dont get it, we can enjoy some aspects of the game and still request others to be changed.
Thats the reason for the feedback.
In terms of release dates, considering both the massive amount of mechanical core components being revamped and the extremely aggressive date and the ignoring of alot of the feedback bugs, we have every right to be concerned.
(alot of powers are not working correctly, heck there are powers since mod 1 that dont do what they are SUPPOSED to do!)
They havent even done ONE pass through on DCs, not one, not fix bugs, tweak powers or anything, nothing at all! They couldve done nothing to the class , since basically thats what they did, every power/feat are so situation in nature and underwhelming useless that it would've been the same in the end.
I do hope they will be able to fix this amount of bugs. There is no questions even about perfect class balance but amount of bugs, issues with RP, tons of qol things that we miss and general 0 new content/gear should be minimized. This is good idea that mod is postponed.
