I don't know if this is a bug or intended mechanic so I put in general discussion.
When I hit Disheartening strike DOT on a HR, he takes the DOT ticks... and if he uses Fox cunning, the DOT is completely removed.
This has been brought up previously and I believe there are also a few other class powers that do the same thing even though they are not indicated as having any ability to remove effects.
It has a long animation on the first throw, which can be easily dodged, deflected or just out ranged. The 2nd throw can actually cancel out the first throw as well because it does not have same ani time and is much quicker...then if that gets deflected, well, wasted time.
You can be taken down faster by an opponent's CoS than it takes you to land A DHS on him. Roll up a WK and see how awesome DHS is :P
I don't think you've ever played a WK in PvP very effectively.
Considering each use drains stealth and makes you visible, staying in range to keep trying to land DS can be a bad idea.
DS isn't hard to dodge, people unintentionally do it all the time while fighting someone else. It can be a pain in the *** to tag a CW with DS when they're constantly dodging away from a GWF.
Broken mechanics, broken class designs, lack of actual content, and over zealous, bronze-age moderation?
Comments
no, tr could do the same with itc when it worked differently.
but yes that the point...bloodbath does the same thing
Panacea is not listed in the tooltips for these powers so I am assuming it is an oversight. Probably a feature at this point though.
DHS can be very hard to land on a player, it is super aggravating to have it erased by this stuff.
