There are a couple of ways to read that: Did you want the player to be able to life drain someone else or did you want their life to be drained. Either way the answer is no.
The only thing you could do it force them to walk over traps or the spellplague cracks that cause damage.

Not so sure what's going on in that link, but the timelimit was just a thought of a nice addition and not the main goal. There is a map which is supposed to suck out the vigor of the character, which I wanted to display with life drain. In addition this would raise difficulty level for the fights and set a timelimit ... anyway, gonna leave that out. Thanks.

I thought as much, though. Traps and cracks are not an option, because they do not fit into the feel of the map. But thanks for the clarification.

Not sure if your idea could make use of those types of timers but there is a chance it could work.
