Cannot connect to Dev server NeverWinterPreview

I downloaded all the patches and am trying to connect to the NeverWinterPreview server. I get to the Cryptic screen and it crashes from there. I get a fatal error message unable to initialize on-demand patching and content to Patch Server: The connect was idle too long.

I am not sure if this has to do with the intermittent logon issue or not.
