Is there something wrong with respecing feats?

I tried respect my feats But the same boons and my GS is lowered by 200 try respect it back to my original spec I lost another 200 gs thats is 400 gs lost. Why is like this? is this normal your gs will be lowered every time you use respect?

    Some feats boost your GS.

    respect is earned not forced
