At end of each month I track the Top 500 on the PvP Leaderboard and see how that reflects class balance and how that balance is changing over time (since class changes take time to reflect fully on leaderboard).
- TR and HR are both on the rise and the number from every other class has fallen since 2 months ago.
- We are heading towards a situation where 50% of every player in the highly competitive top PvP bracket is a TR.
- SW went from horrible to abysmal and may fall below 1%. And SW fury capstone damage was nerfed last week.
Previously I showed random samples taken from middle of the leaderboard show roughly proportionate distribution of classes (10-20% of each class: 100%/7 classes = 14%) as it should be. So interpreting this graphic as meaning "more people are playing TR" is, while true, not correct as the reason they are dominant on the top boards - TR dominates leaderboard ever more because they are so effing overpowered. More people are playing them is only a minor factor.

Suresure. I wonder why is the first comment a new post so often some smartass. As if they wait around boards to get a first jab at something.. same phenom happens on twitter youtube and elsewhere. There is a word for that, oh bother I forget

well, the kicking exploit doesn't affect the fact that TRs are so popular...for reasons already mentioned a million times to the devs

Yep, CW>HR on chart only cause of the noticeably bigger number of well geared CWs.
I think you could put your graph skills to better use, there are already dozen threads pointing how problematic TRs are, also not to mention if any of the devs just opens the leaderboard window he will immediately notice the disparity.
I've been playing this game for awhile and i noticed how they balance things, my theory is this:
They have backlog of changes that some are from the community feedback, the problem is by the time they implement the changes alot of content changed, THAT'S why we see alot of changes that don't make sense (like nerfing the same class back to back).
TR being OP and CW being the most well-rounded class since beta (in both PVP and PVE).
yipeee.
I like the GF stats though. It makes them rare, people are impressed when they see a HAMSTER GF who's good.
Guardian Fighter main. I will never switch to Paladin even if we're a dying breed. GF for ever!
Main alts: Great Weapon Fighter, Control Wizard.
Thats true CW were so well rounded that people would ask for 3 or more to run any dungeon...

what is the purpose of this post? i don't even...
So .... you actually mean ...that dps DC is the most powerfull class in pvp since unless im not mistaken the #1 is a dps dc for several weeks i might add... so ... good luck going into a premade with a dps dc
PS I know what you meant in your comment so dont bother explaining it better , just try to understand what I mean in my response
PS Plz , for the love of god DONT pay attention to LB
Don't make blanket posts like that. The DC that's #1 on leaderboard along with the only GF and HR on page 1 are all bug abusers.
We in the PvP community have generally cracked down on people that abuse their way to the top, and considering that, I view the LB as a more accurate representation now of class balance in PvP.
