    they're all sh*t.

    especially next module.

right now the only viable ones are: IBS, Restoring Strike (meh), and Intimidation (Come and Get it, Daring Shout) which are nerfed next module.

If you're talking about PVE then any encounter is good since PVE is a walk in the park.

that's some very sad, poor advice.

as for encounters, IBS obviously, Daring Shout is for me a must encounter, and restoring strike/flourish (if sm)/frontline surge if iv.

plenty of guides to read about suggestions of different routines.

Well since he's level 28 he's not going to have Indomitable Battle Strike.
It's not clear if you're talking about PvE or PvP, but I'll assume PvE.
Early on you don't have all that many choices.
Not So Fast is decent AoE. Its animation is just swinging your sword in a horizontal arc.
Restoring Strike is decent single-target damage and a bit of healing. Its animation is swinging your sword straight up.
Mighty Leap is probably not a great go-to. It's good mobility and lets you dodge stuff, which can be handy, but isn't too much damage, though it is AoE. Its animation is you leaping in the air and then slamming into the ground.
Takedown will knock down opponents but doesn't do too much damage. It is good for interrupting slow attacks--if the creature isn't CC immune. Its animation is you striking downward with the hilt of your sword.
I don't think Roar is very good since it was nerfed into oblivion?
Daring Shout marks things and is buffed by Sentinel's Intimidation feat. You want that once it's available. The animation is you throwing back your head and shouting out blue lines.
Come and Get It pulls opponents closer to you and adds damage to your next attack. Also buffed by Intimitation. Generally good when you're fighting a bunch of weaker creatures. Animation is you kind of swinging your arm....

Intimidation. Whole rotations, whole builds are centered on this one and only encounter.
But hurry to use it, in Mod6 it won't work any more.

Its unfortunately the truth... many GWF skills and encounters show signs of being outdated -- clunky, ineffective, gimmicky. In PvP, the skill you choose to use is either; (a) strong in damage, or (b) strong in utility. Unfortunately GWF powers are riddled with skills that do meh damage and have extremely weak, gimmicky uses.

A glaringly obvious example would be the basic attacks -- at-wills. The only useful power is the basic Sure Strike and Threatening Rush. Every other at-will... Reaping Strike, WepMaster's Strike, Wicked Strike.. its just ghastly to use. These three are typical examples of "old and outdated" powers, and much the same with most encounters.

neverwinter wep master strike is probably the most clunky skill ive seen for something that should be fluid and graceful.

fun to use on a pack though good dps.

    Depends.

Restoring Strike, Mighty Leap, Front Line Surge, IBS, Daring Shout are good for PvE. Since Mod 6 is around the corner, I wouldn't recommend you to use the Sentinel/Intimidation Build. It wasn't that great anyways PvE-wise.

Mod6 will bring another encounter at level 60. I don't remember the name right now, but it's pretty beastly.

ugh, so ironic that swing is what a total **** sword user would do.

grand fissure and it WAS beastly till the stealth nerfed it ...
hidden daggers is still pretty good but it reallly bothers me that our "new skills" are just renamed skills from other classes
    hidden daggers= Blitz (tr encounter)
    grand fissure = Terrifying impact

the fact that we cant even get them to split the forums so GF and GWFs have to share a forum just speaks to how much they really care about our class (and GFs)
here fighters you can if you are lucky have some table scrap leftovers for powers now go back to your room under the stairs where you both can share a bed and DONT YOU DARE FIGURE OUT HOW TO BECOME COMPETITIVE IN PVP OR PVE OR WE WILL BEAT YOU WITH THE NERF BAT SO HARD YOU WILL HAVE TO GRAB TWO "REAL CLASSES" TO DO YOUR DALIY DUNGEONS WITH...
